I have been a nature photographer since I was twelve years old. I am now retired and I spend my summers in my RV in June Lake, CA photographing the eagles and other widdlife as well as the landscapes in the area.
I use a Canon 20D digital camera with a varitey of lenses including a Canon 300mm f2.8 L, Canon 100-400mm zoom telephoto. I photograph the eagles using the Canon 300mm with a Canon1.4 extender. I have equipment in my RV for printing high-quality color photographs in sizes up to 24 in. by 32in. while you wait. The Panoramas can be 24 in wide by whatever the format of the pictures allow. The Yosemite Tioga Pass Panorama I personally made was 17in. x 8ft on canvas and is awesome. Pictures on canvas don't have to be matted or behind glass.
The Eagles are photographed at June Lake, Ca.
There are two mating eagles and 2 years ago, year 2005, they mated and produced 2 eaglets. They are now 2 years old and haven't got their white head yet, which they get when they are 5 years old. Info on the eagles can be found by going to www.baldeagleinfo.com/eagle/eagle4.html
